Even though the rate is Non-Refundable, the plan allows you to cancel your reservation for justified reasons and request a 100% refund of the stay amount, within the plan’s limits and conditions. It includes, among others, the following covered reasons:

  • Hospitalization or serious medical worsening
  • Quarantine or prescribed medical isolation

  • Who is the provider and insurer of the insurance?

    The protection plans offered during booking at HOTEL NYX CANCÚN are managed by Intermundial XXI, S.L.U. and insured by Más Servicios, an insurer specialized in travel insurance with extensive experience in the tourism sector.

  • Where can I review the insurance terms before purchasing?

    During the booking process you will have access to all insurance documentation, including:

    • Coverage summary, with details of guarantees, limits, minimums, and cancellation reasons

    This way you can decide with full transparency before confirming the purchase.

  • Is it mandatory to purchase insurance?

    No. NYX Rewards members already have a plan included free of charge when booking the Non-Refundable Rate. Optional plans are completely voluntary and are offered as an additional service to travel with greater peace of mind.

  • Who is covered by the insurance?

    The insurance covers the reservation holder and all included accompanying guests, including adults, minors, and babies. To provide a better service, it is important that all accompanying guests are registered via the email that Intermundial sends after the booking.

  • When does the insurance coverage begin?

    • Cancellation coverage: activates from the day after purchase.
    • Assistance coverage: begins on the trip start day.
  • What happens if I have to cancel my reservation?

    First you must cancel the reservation with HOTEL NYX CANCÚN. If the reason for cancellation is included among the causes covered by the purchased insurance, you must report the claim to Mas Servicios and provide the required documentation to request reimbursement.

  • What do I do if my luggage is lost or delayed?

    You must file an incident report (PIR) at the airport and keep it along with the receipts for expenses. With this documentation you can manage the claim according to the coverage of the purchased insurance.

  • Can I modify or cancel the insurance once purchased?

    • Assistance-only insurance: can be modified or canceled up to 24 hours before arrival.
    • Insurance with cancellation: does not allow changes or cancellations once purchased.
