Hotel NYX Cancun in Mexico
This policy becomes effective once a hurricane warning is issued by the U.S. National Weather Service.
Hotel NYX Cancun understands that severe weather events may cause guests to reconsider their travel plans. The safety of our guests and employees is our highest priority. In the event that a hurricane warning is issued by the U.S. National Weather Service during the dates of your reservation, Hotel NYX Cancun will offer the following options:
Cancellations:
All bookings confirmed within 72 hours prior to the hurricane impacting the destination may be canceled free of charge. Guests must contact the travel agency or booking channel through which the reservation was made in order to process the cancellation.
No-Shows:
No penalties or charges will apply to guests for no-shows occurring within two days after the hurricane impacts the destination.
Early Departures:
Guests who decide to leave the property due to a hurricane warning will receive a certificate for their unused nights, valid for one year from the date of issue.
Change of Dates:
Guests who decide to postpone their vacation due to a hurricane warning may reschedule their stay without penalty, maintaining the original booked rate. Rate protection applies only to the original number of nights and guests booked. Additional nights or guests will be charged at the current applicable rates. Name changes are not permitted.
This policy is not valid during the Christmas, New Year’s Eve, and Holy Week seasons.
Refunds:
All bookings confirmed within 72 hours prior to the hurricane impacting the destination, and up to two days afterward, are eligible for a full refund free of charge.
Airport Closures / Flight Cancellations:
If guests are required to extend their stay due to airport closures and/or flight cancellations, Hotel NYX Cancun will offer a special discounted rate of up to 30% off the lowest available rate for guests who choose to extend their stay directly at the property.
